Here’s a step-by-step guide to set up neep with Microsoft Teams:

1. Download neep: Visit the neep website at neep.com and download the software.
2. Configure Microsoft Teams:
   • Open Microsoft Teams.
   • Click the three dots in the top right corner and select “Settings.”
   • In the left pane, choose “Devices.”
   • Ensure “neep Microphone” and “neep Speakers” are selected.
   • Under “Noise suppression,” set it to “Off” (neep handles noise cancellation).
3. Open the neep app:
   • Click the up arrow in the taskbar (lower right corner) and select the purple “n” icon for neep.
4. Configure neep settings:
   • Under “Microphone,” choose your audio device (headset, conference phone etc) and set it to “On.”
   • Under “Speaker,” select the same audio device but set it to “Off” (this prevents neep from suppressing music. This feature can be activated for other situations).
   • Enable “Register your voice” and “Enhanced background noise cancellation.”
5. Optimize neep performance:
   • Click the settings icon (gear symbol) in neep.
   • Under “General,” ensure the following settings are enabled:
     • Launch at system startup
     • Echo cancellation
     • HD Voice
     • Microphone noise reduction level: 100%
     • Speaker noise reduction level: 100%
     • Enhanced noise cancellation

Confirmation:

• Launch a Teams meeting (voice or video).
