Getting started
Three steps to quiet calls
Open neep and choose your devices
Once neep is installed, open it, select your preferred microphone and speaker, and turn it on. Turning on speaker noise cancellation also cleans the noise coming from the person you’re talking to — so if their dog is barking, you’ll barely hear it.
Register your voice
Register your voice so neep knows to focus on you and quiet other voices and sounds around you. Make sure it’s switched on.
Select neep in your call app
In your meeting or calling software — Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, RingCentral, GoTo, 8×8, and many others — set neep as your default microphone and speaker. That’s it.
Dial in the settings: make sure Echo cancellation and HD voice are checked, turn microphone noise reduction to the max, and enable Enhanced noise cancellation for best performance. Use the Test Audio tab to hear your mic with and without neep before you hop on a live call.
